5 Keys to Teach Yourself to Sing using Learning to Sing CD

By Solomon Silver

Learn to Sing CD's offer all of us the opportunity for training our voice and our mental tuning fork. These learn to sing CD voice training courses are the best of a crowded field. With American Idol all the rage, everyone wants to be able to sing out and sing the high notes.

Learning to sing requires learning to control our vocal chords. Like any muscle, vocal chords can be strengthened, tuned up, stretched, made faster - such as signing vibrato, or ruined by improper training. A good learn to sing CD offers training tips for stretching vocal chords. Online singing lessons, or singing lessons with CD's can be just the boost needed for getting to the high notes. The average singer has a 1 and 1/2 octave range. This is 12 notes.

By studying with a CD for learning to sing, or teach yourself to sing course, the new singer can learn the proper technique for singing high notes. Often, testimonials from each Learn to Sing CD course, or online singing course will discuss how the course improved the singing range of customers.

I improved my own ability to sing high notes by 1/2 and octave. Now I can sing all of Frank Sinatra's songs without straining too much. Online singing courses help increase the flexibility and muscle control so that an untrained singer can become a more versatile trained singer at their own pace. Placido Domingo, the great opera tenor, can sing 3 full octaves. He is a fully trained singer. Without training, the odds are he would have been stuck straining to sing even a 2 octave range. No matter what, learning to sing better requires training.

Some of these Learn to sing CD singing courses cost over $200! By choosing singing courses that had a long term track record, could be used both by a beginner and a more advanced singer trained in the basics of breath control, voice transitions, vocal relation, and note attack, the singing course can be used and enjoyed by anyone.

While studying singing with online courses and learn to sing cd's, I developed 5 key tips for making progress with the singing lessons:
1. Small daily lessons every day are superior to longer lessons once per week. Think of voice training as learning a physical skill. Work at the singing course a little bit at a time and the body and mind adapts better and faster than with long breaks between lessons.

2. Start at the beginning of the singing course, even if you are advanced. Each teacher has their own twist on singing technique. Keep an open mind.

3. Early practice is better than late practice. Singing in the shower with a learn to sing CD is a great way to start the day. The car is also a good place to get the practice done every day.

4. Most importantly, use the online singing course with... - 18423

Basic Music Production Tips

By Mick LLaleBeoufey

There are typically problems along the road of music production ; the majority of these holes can be avoid if the mixing beginner has some music production basics to help them at the start. Once a person that is new to music production knows the basics and knows the golden rules their educational process and overall education in this field will be at a far bigger level than people who jump straight in without knowing or reading anything. These are some useful tips :

Always back up all files that are required in you mix - before you sit down to start a mixture, ensure you have all of your audio files and arrangement files saved and backed up on something away from your PC. Be that an external drive, DVD / CD, memory stick or even on the web. Anything could happen, for example a virus infection, drive melt down or something else infinitely random.

Mix within a peaceful environment - you can't do any of the music production basics let alone mix if there is inappropriate noise going on around you. Even while using headphones it is not good as it is distracting.

You do not need extreme silence, though that might be nice. Just all of the noise must be in the background and not breaking your concentration. Never ever turn speakers up above a snug listening level to drown out or counter noise interfering with your ability to mix competently.

Listen though a track before mixing and write ideas down - I usually listen thru a track I am about to mix and write down ideas I have for the mixing direction. The foundation could come from express vocals / words or merely a feeling / idea I thought up in that moment of listening ; it is straightforward to put your ideas into practise when you know the music production basics.

It is always great to have an idea or direction of how you need the track to go. At this stage an idea would probably be formed anyway. When listening to the track for ideas wait at least 24 hours, or, if you're like me and / or you have the time on your hands wait longer and listen to it as fresh and forgetful as you can and base your mixing idea on the 1st impressions you get. - 18423
