The name of the band is exactly who they are - they are three young brothers in the Jonas family. Joseph is the middle child, is the lead vocalist, and had always aspired to be a comedian not a musician. Nicholas - the youngest - followed his brothers and does an impeccable job with rhythm.

The Jonas Brothers have made quite a name for themselves in the few years they have been around. In 2005, they were noticed by Columbia executives because of a song that Nick Jonas and his father had done - and this is where it all began. Columbia quickly signed with the band and helped them to release their first album - "It's About Time" - the following year (2006). The band had help from amazing talent like Desmond child of Aerosmith and Billy Mann of Destiny's Child.

Hollywood Records signed with the Jonas Brothers and helped them with the production and release of their second album. This next album had a song called "Kids of the Future" which got the band a lot of attention and began to captivate fans. "I Wanna be Like You" was another song, on their second album, and was one of their Disney cover songs as well.

It wasn't long after that their third album - "A Little Bit Longer" - was released to the public. This album contained a number of hits and was the turning point for the Jonas Brothers. Songs like "Burnin Up", "Pushin' Me Away", "Tonight", and "A Little Bit Longer" where number one hits on iTunes for a long period. The release of this album and their new number one hits influenced ticket sales instantly!

The Jonas Brothers, like any other band, are on tour and making appearances in many major cities. However, there are other venues in which to enjoy their performances as well, like on Disney Channel. It is here that they make guest appearances on shows like Hannah Montana. They also started as a band of three whom were sent off to music camp in one of Disney's original movies - "Camp Rock".

The band has already received numerous awards for their accomplishments. In 2008, the Jonas Brothers were even nominated for a Grammy for "Best New Artist"!

Nickelback is a rock band, originating from Canada, that is made up of 5 stunningly talented musicians. Nickelback began their career in the mid to late 90's - originally inspired by a band known as "Creed". They; however, had a passion and drive that pushed them to be more successful than their inspiration. Their venture was not an easy one, nor one that happened overnight, they faced many struggles and bumps on their journey to the top. Today; however, it does seem as if they began right where they are - at the top.

The lead singer of Nickelback - Chad Kroeger - is where it all started. He perfected his talent by singing with many local bands in Hanna. He realized; however, that he would need to go bigger than his hometown if he were to make a name for himself. This is when he headed off to Vancouver, where his brother Mike met - shortly after - him.

Ryan Vikedal and Ryan Peake were the next additions to the band, in 1996. It was at this point that the group decided - and agreed - to call themselves Nickelback. (Mike, Chad's brother coined this phrase. Every time he would give customers change, he would say "a nickel back". A silly little catch phrase turned into the name of one of the top rock and roll bands of today.)

The talent that these musicians brought to the table was breath taking, but their energy and passion was much more captivating. Their passion and energy enabled them to do their own advertising. They approached club owners, radio stations, and crated their own posters for their gigs - they even created their own YouTube website. This drive got them to the point that - also in 1996 - they were able to begin touring and sharing their music.

The year 2000 opened new doors for the band. Canadian radio stations were looking to showcase only local bands this year, which gave Nickelback their window of opportunity. "The State" was their most recent release, and was the song that began to catch the attention of many - including recording artists. Canadian and U.S. recording firms signed contracts with the band for distribution rights of "The State".

In 2005 Ryan Vikedal was replaced by Daniel Adair. This did not; however, put a halt to their fame. The same year their released "All the Right Reasons". This album sold over 7-million copies, and stayed on the top 30 charts for two years - and these are only the stats for the United States.

The passion that drives Nickelback is what makes them so special and what captivates thousands of audiences each year. Their music is beyond phenomenal, and their shows are even better.
