Takamine Acoustic Left Hand And Electric Left Hand Oriented Guitars

By Zane J Freeman

Takamine is the first name thought of when discussing acoustic left handed guitars. As a Japan based guitar manufacturer; its US distribution team is the Kaman Corporation. They are most popular for their signature pre-amp/EQ built into all A/E models. This is also true of their acoustic left handed instruments. It is important to note all Takamine AE models can be specified for left handed artists.

There are two electric left handed guitars that stand out among the many series of Takamine. One of these is the G series and includes a big variety of electric guitar left handed models. Most of these guitars have spruce top that is built with solid and nato sides and back. This wood Nato is quite an inexpensive mahogany- legume family and a distant relative of Koa which makes the instruments very spectacular. This guitar left hand oriented is top notch for several reasons when you put it dollar for dollar. Unlike many of their rivals, the body style has not been changed and is still very much a classic dreadnought with flat front and molded sides. With this special wood the acoustic tone still retains what every player long for. Very importantly, the chases will not slip or fall from your lap when you are strumming this beautiful guitar.

It is not always easy to find something that is made for a left handed person. And sometimes they don't make that item for left hand people at all. When you are left handed, people think things you do, is backwards.

When you buy a Takamine left handed edition acoustic electric guitar get ready to be amazed. The pre-amp and EQs that are built in are incredible. The system lets you manually adjust the mid-range at will, and the Takamine TK4N electronics has a tunable "notch" filter.

We can't finish this one without talking about the Natural series of the Takamines. More of an upscale model from the G series it features a Mahogany back and sides with the top made of solid cedar. A great value for money it's a natural electric guitar left handed version with great value and as they say, the life of the guitar is in the wood and these G series is not different. Having extremely good tone and clarity, both series of acoustic left hand guitars, electric or not, combine it's attention to workmanship. You have a winning musical combination on your hand with a set of medium to light steel strings.

If you happen to be a southpaw, you cannot buy just any guitar. Instead, you need to find a shop that sells left-handed guitars, such as www.lefthandedguitarmall.com, which stocks left-handed electric guitars. It also has other musical items designed especially for lefties. - 18423

Difference Between a Grand Piano and a Digital Piano

By Amy Nutt

Introduction

The difference between a grand piano and a digital piano really does depend on who you are at the end of the day. This is because to different people, the differences will mean alternate things. Some differences are noticeable to some people while some are not even worth mentioning as details to others. While we cant cover the entire spectrum of people that might use a grand piano or a digital piano in this article, some of the major groups of people are below.

The Average Joe

To the Average Joe, the practicality of the situation is really what matters. They are not interested in the minute details surrounding the sales of pianos but rather are interested in knowing how the two pianos will compare to each other when it actually comes to using the piano in order to get something good musically. For this type of person, there is really no difference between the grand piano and the digital piano. Both piano types will get them the music that they need and for this reason they are likely to go with whichever option is the more cost effective one at the time (usually the digital piano) if they do decide to make the large purchase.

The Classical Musician

There are many musicians in the world today and not all of them are classical. This person type has a very large flair for playing classical music and loves the old classical stuff more than just about any other type of music that you can find in the world today. These people are interested in coming up with that classical sound for their own musical pursuits. For these people, the grand piano will be the one they want. The grand piano has a richer and fuller sound that is reminiscent of those times while the digital piano is decidedly modern in the way it sounds. For a classical musician, that is not something to be desired.

Modern Composer

A modern composer is interested in getting everything together and then using the awesome power of the tools at their disposal to create music out of thin air. For the modern composer, the digital piano is going to be the superior one. The grand piano might have the better sound, but the composer is not playing for anyone. They are composing. The digital piano, combined with a musical software package, has far more power to help compose with the computing power of the internet and your own personal computer. In fact, the digital piano was really created for that purpose in addition to the synthesizer, so the modern composer would certainly choose one of those two over the grand piano were they making this sort of purchase.

Conclusion

These are generalizations to be sure. There are also many other types out there. However, covering the point of view in terms of practicality, instrumental sound and electronic computing power shows you some of the major differences between a grand piano and a digital piano. - 18423

Set It Off Movie Fans!

By Johnnie Longridge

Stick up a bank? Sure, why not. And the Set It Off movie cast was selected perfectly to imitate four girlfriends who, after being messed up by the system and have nothing to lose, decide to get into the bank robbing industry.

The Set It Off movie Cast includes a HOT Vivica Fox as Frankie, who was recently fired from her bank-teller job for a real BS reason and is pissed at society. She gets to kick some major bootie in this film.

Kimberly Elisa plays Tisean, a single mother that has lost her son to child welfare until she can come up with the money she needs to pay for child care while she cleans offices.

Queen Latifah plays Cleo, a raucous, pot-smoking lesbian, who is continuously up for messing around.

And super fiery Jada Pinkett plays Stony, who is in shock after the cops slay her brother in a occurrence of mistaken identity, and she only wants the funds to get out. 'I want to be somebody who doesn't have to do this crap,' she says.

So the girls obtain guns, learn to fire, put on wigs and sunglasses that make their bad old selves look like youthful Tina Turner clones, and set off into the bank-robbing business ' they experience success, which certainly leaves them wanting more.

Set It Off is funny, action packed, smart and witty. The group of four four act a wacky Godfather riff, and Cleo, swaggers and whoops ' she's a lofty, noisy, outrageous bundle of walking black female. In the beginning, the heist business is only a way to get elsewhere, but as their greed overtakes their better common sense and their chief pursuer ( John McGinley) closes in on their fantasy world, realty sets in and sends the show in a tragic direction.

If you're looking for a show to watch with your girlfriend or boyfriend, the Set It Off showis perfect! Both men and women will like this show Men will love the action and women will understand and enjoy the bond these four girls maintain and what drives them. Women (and perhaps a number of men) will furthermore enjoy the subplot romance involving Stony and a banker played by Blair Underwood.

You can currently get the Set It Off movie on Blu-ray, which makes it an astounding high-definition film watching experience!

The Set It Off soundtrack rocks and is a great fit for the film, featuring artists such as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Seal, Busta Rhymes, of course Queen Latifah and even a cameo by Gladys Knight in the song Missing You. Even if you don't like the film, the Set It Off soundtrack alone is worth it. It's a impressive compilation of music. - 18423

Nutcracker the Motion Picture: Much of this rendition of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Notthwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. Jurassic Park III: Amusing popcorn film that takes a recipe and plays it for all it's worth as professor-paleontologist Neill is convinced to lead an expedition to the prohibited island where dinosaurs wander, however obviously he hasn't been informed of the realities.
