First Steps To Learning The Guitar
Playing the guitar can be an entertaining and satisfying experience. There's nothing better than showing off to your friends and family by playing some popular songs. Unfortunately, it is not easy to learn guitar for beginners especially if you don't know where to start. To be successful guitar player, you need to start from the beginning. First off, you will need to figure out how to tune your guitar, otherwise every note you play will sound awful. If you don't tune your guitar consistently, the strings will become stretched and sound distorted. E-A-D-G-B-E is the standard guitar tuning. While there are other tuning you can use, it is a good idea learn this one first.
Once your guitar is in tune, you can now use it to start playing some notes. To play a note, take one of the strings, and press down on it on one of the frets with one finger, and pluck at the string with your other hand. The tabs are a simple picture that shows the 6 guitar strings along with numbers that represent the fret you should press for each note. Just pick a simple guitar tab to learn and go over it until it becomes natural for you to play. Don't get frustrated, as it will take you some time to master it.
