The primordial title, THE BUBBLE, was far less deceiving: there are no foreigners and no "invasion" in proof, and not much enthusiasm, either. After losing his wife to an unsuccessful surgery, Dr. Phibes dies in a car wreck. Or does he? Everyone is baffled as the surgeons who fail to save Mrs. Phibes are all dying. Vincent Price, Joseph Cotten, Peter Jeffrey, and Hugh Griffith fill out the cast. (1971 Horror/Comedy)
