Rhythm Thief: Immediately fascinating and arrogant ultra low cost picture of a distant although afflicted Andrews, who lives on N.Y.C.'s dirty Lower East Side and makes his keep by marketing tapes of illicitly copied music. The film is intriguing and seductive at times. It was filmed in 11 nights, for $ 11,000.
