A Variety Of Excellent Full Length Film Story Lines
It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. These days you can stay at home and get movies from a movie download site. Following is a list of a few movies that you can get using a movie download site.
Kindergarten Cop: Tough city cop John Kimble has been chasing drug dealer Cullen Crisp for a long time. He needs to find Crisp's ex-wife Rachel, because with her testimony he can put Cullen behind bars. To find her he becomes an undercover kindergarten teacher, setting up lots of laughs.
The Mighty Ducks: Arrested for drunk driving, hot shot lawyer Gordon Bombay is ordered by the judge to coach a peewee league hockey team. The team he must coach is the worst team in the league, the Mighty Ducks. He somehow resurrects their season, and they go all the way to the championship game. Can they win it all?
Metroland: Chris Bale, a relaxingly wedded gentleman, is visited by his oldest buddy, a vagabond poet, who powers him to reflect on his Bohemian nights in late '60s Paris and query the value of middle-style presence in London suburbia. Adrian Hodges adjusted Julian Bames' novel. Cast includes Christian Bale, Emily Watson, Lee Ross, Elsa Zylberstein, Rufus, Jonathan Aris, Ifan Meredith, Amanda Ryan, and John Wood. (97 minutes, 1998)
Slaughterhouse 5: Occasionally slow, occasionally on track, spreading view of life through eyes of one Billy Pilgrim, virtuoso no one who gets to be "unstuck" in time. Large-spending limit adaptation of a weird fantasy novel is tough going for those with a producer's point of view. Cast includes Michael Sacks, Eugene Roche, Valerie Perrine, Holly Near, and Perry Emperor. (104 minutes, 1972)
I Never Sang for My Father: Tender adaptation of Robert Anderson play in reference to grown man (Hackman) faced with the problems involved in caring for his older dad (Douglas). Cast includes Melvyn Douglas, Gene Hackman, Dorothy Stickney, Estelle Parsons, Elizabeth Hubbard, and Lovelady Powell. (93 minutes, 1970)
Pearl Harbor: Part old-styled silver monitor romance, part boys' venture, part enormous re-creation of December seven, 1941 makes this a gigantic Hollywood film. Infrequent silliness and anti-climactic rendering of Doolittle's pillage on Tokyo are counter productive by thrilling and appalling illustration of the scandalous bombing assault on Pearl. Cast includes Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Alec Baldwin, Jon Voight, and Catherine Kellner. (183 minutes, 2001)
Sinister Invasion: 19th-century scientist Karloff's trials and errors unintentionally conjure foreigners who over power a local Ripper-like murderer. Inexpensive, limp, gross film, one of 4 Karloff performed on simultaneously in 1968; regrettably this was his last film work. Cast includes Juan Ibanez, Boris Karloff, Enrique Guzman, Christa Linder, Maura Monti, Yerye Beirute, and Sergio Kleiner. (90 minutes, 1971)
The Hulk: Bruce Banner was exposed to an incredibly high dose of gamma rays. While he thinks he has recovered fully, he suffers blackouts, and emotional outburst. Meanwhile, a green monster called the Hulk has been scene on occasion causing considerable damage wherever he appears. Is it possible that Bruce and the Hulk are one and the same?
The Ploughman's Lunch: Difficult, skeptical condemnation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the exercises of completely selfish stereo journalist Pryce and others throughout the Falklands battle. The film is relatively perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore. (100 minutes, 1983)
