National Treasure: Ben Gates has been hunting his whole life for a legendary national treasure. Following in a long line of Gates who have lived out there lives chasing clues this great mystery, Ben finds himself in a race for the treasure against a criminal mastermind. He must steal the Declaration of Independence in order to protect the clues and the document from this criminal. The clues lead him on his continued pursuit of this supposed national treasure.
The Abyss: A submarine has sunk. A nearby oil rig crew is sent down to rescue the sub if possible. Once down there they find that this in no normal situation. This film stars Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Michael Biehn, and Leo Burmester. (1989 Sci-Fi)
Rain Man: Charlie Babbit finds that he has been virtually left out of his father's will. He finds out that he has a brother, and that the money has gone to his brother Ray, who lives in a mental institution. At first wanting to get his hands on the money, Charlie meets with Ray, and takes him away from the hospital. Eventually, he learns Ray's story and the two form an unbreakable bond.
The Last Run: Average story of aging gangland driver who has to make one more run for his self image. Incredible photography shot by Sven Nykvist. Cast includes George C. Scott, Tony Musante, Trish Van Devere, and Colleen Dewhurst. (99 minutes, 1971)
Cry of the City: Rehash of Manhattan Melodrama in regards to adolescence buddies, one who gets to be a cop, the other a felon-smooth although unsurprising. Cast includes Winner Mature, Richard Conte, Fred Clark, Shelley Winters, Betty Garde, Debra Paget, and Wish Emerson. (95 minutes, 1948)
Hold'em Jail: A stupid comedy, in which Wheeler and Woolsey are framed, sent to prison, and play on Warden Kennedy's football team. The climactic gigantic game is the highlight. Cast includes Bert Wheeler, Robert Woolsey, Betty Grable, Edgar Kennedy, Edna Might Oliver, Paul Hurst, and Warren Hymer. (74 minutes, 1932)
Siege of Syracuse: No less than Archimedes guards Syracuse from invading armada by use of mammoth mirrors that explodes into flames. In spite of that, it's regimen. Cast includes Rossano Brazzi, Tina Louise, Enrico Maria Salerno, and Gino Cervi. (97 minutes, 1962)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Cute variance on vampire legends, with high school Valley Gal Swanson turning out to be "the selected one" of her generation to slaughter wandering vampires. Sutherland is superlative as her mentor and guide, and Reubens the prior Pee-wee Herman is fun as one of the fanged bullies. Look for Ben Affleck as a basketball competitor. TRY or Rock: Neil Simon's supreme comedy of embarrassment, adjusted from Bruce Jay Friedman's small tale "A Change of Plan." Jewish boy Grodin gets wedded to Berlin and meets an attractive WASP blonde Shepherd on honeymoon, and determines to shuffle plans. Very comical but relies on your point of view; prompted for maximum impact by Might. The Cast includes Charles Grodin, Cybill Shepherd, Jeannie Berlin, Eddie Albert, and Audra Lindley.
