Fool for Love: Sheppard's assessment of 2 ex-lovers who find that they are inextricably stuck together. The tough part is is creating some interest in these characters. Cast includes Sam Shepard, Kim Basinger, Harty Dean Stanton, and Randy Quaid. (106 minutes, 1985)
AL Capone: Excellent newer-night gangster biography with Steiger ranting as Scar-faced Capone; excellent aiding cast, bringing back the nostalgia of Cagney-Robinson-Bogart films of the '30s. Cast includes Pole Steiger, Fay Spain, James Gregory, Martin Balsam, Nehemiah Persoff, and Mervyn Vye. (105 minutes, 1959)
Alexander: Lumbering historical myth in regards to the life of Alexander the Awesome, as dictated some years after his downfall by Ptolemy. Patriot Games: Retired CIA analyst Jack Ryan is vacationing in England when, by complete chance, he finds himself saving a significant member of the Royal Family from an assassination attempt. In the process Jack kills one of the key terrorists younger brothers. Now this faction of the IRA is out to get Jack and his family. Jack Ryan is now out of retirement.
