HE is all business, but eventually Pita wins him over, and he has become emotionally connected to the small child. When she is kidnapped, he is driven like no man before to recover the poor child.

A Little Sex: This movie is essentially an R-rated Television-film, with Matheson wedding long-time girlftiend Capshaw wishing it can break him of his habit of chasing woman. Cast includes Tim Matheson, Kate Capshaw, Edward Herrmann, John Glover, Joan Copeland, Susanna Dalton, Wendie Malick, Wallace Shawn, Melinda Culea, and Bill Smitrovich. (95 minutes, 1982)

Days of Wine and Roses: Modern Lost Weekend set in San Francisco, with Lemmon wedding Remick and lugging her into a state of alcoholism. Practical direction and abrasive inscribing combine for phenomenal outcome. Cast includes Jack Lemmon, Lee Remick, Charles Bickford, Jack Klugman, Alan Hewitt, Tom Palmer, and Jack Albertson. (117 minutes, 1962)

The Pink Panther: Steve Martin tries to duplicate the magic that Peter Sellers put into the part of Inspector Jacques Clouseau. This bumbling French detective seems to make a mess out of any situation he finds himself in. In spite of this he always ends up putting the criminals behind bars.

The Bourne Ultimatum: In the third movie of the series, Jason Bourne is still being hunted by those who had trained him into the ultimate assassin that he is. Having lost his memory when almost being killed, Bourne is retracing his past to try to understand who he was, and why everyone wants him dead. All his skills are put to the test, as the C.I.A. is relentless in its effort to have him eliminated.

A Cry in The Dark: Amazing real tale of Lindy Chamberlain, an Australian female implicated of slaying her infant, in spite of her claims that the youngster was toted off by a dingo crazy mutt. Author-controller Schepisi informs his tale with nearly documentary like actuality, eloquently assaulting the format of trial by story that made Chamberlain and her spouse the most maligned couple in Australia. Streep and Neill are heartbreakingly excellent. Cast includes Meryl Streep, Sam Neill, Bruce Myles, Charles Tingwell, Notch Tate, and Lewis Fitzgerald. (121 minutes, 1988)

Rocky 3: Here the Italian Stallion is skilled by Apollo Creed after being dethroned by rude Clubber Mr. T. Stallone's got a triumphing recipe, however beyond belief. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Youthful, Burgess Meredith, and Carl Waters. (99 minutes, 1982)

Eye Witness: A modest yam of American lawyer Montgomery in London to guard buddy implicated of homicide, dealing with balancing the British law system. Cast includes Robert Montgomery, Felix Aylmer, Leslie Banks, Michael Ripper, and Patricia Wayne Cutts. (104 minutes, 1950)
