Dying Young: Aimless youthful lady retorts a newspaper ad and gets to be nurse/friend to a 28-yearold meager-little-opulent-boy who's agonizing from leukemia; useless to affirm, they fall in love. As car for Roberts' charms, it works; as love tale it has its minutes; however as a tearjerker it by no means seriously transfers, drifting toward an inconclusive and unsatisfying finale.
